Wael Fakharany is a seasoned business leader and digital transformation advocate with over three
decades of experience across technology, finance, and investment sectors in the Middle East and
Africa.
As the regional director for Adobe Middle East and Africa, Wael drives the company’s regional
strategy, growth, and innovation; helping governments and enterprises elevate customer
experiences through creativity, data, and AI. A firm believer in technology as a driver of inclusion,
he is shaping Adobe’s mission to empower organizations to deliver meaningful digital experiences
at scale.
Before joining Adobe, Wael held senior leadership roles at Google, Google X, Careem, IBM,
Oracle, Omnix International, Incorta, and Edenred Middle East. His unique ability to merge vision
with execution has made him one of the region’s most respected digital leaders.
A mentor and angel investor, Wael serves on the Board of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) and has
previously contributed to Valu (EFG Hermes), Education for Employment (EFE), and Zewail City for
Science and Technology. Known for his human-centered approach, Wael is a recognized voice on
the future of digital transformation in the Middle East.
