With over 40 years of experience in the real estate and engineering consultancy sectors, Eng. Ahmed Sabbour has been at the forefront of transforming Egypt’s urban landscape. As Chairman and Managing Director of Al Ahly Sabbour Developments, he has led the company in delivering fully integrated, high-impact projects across Egypt, pushing the boundaries of innovation and sustainable development. His entrepreneurial journey began in 1989 with the co-founding of The Engineers Sabbour Company, driven by a vision to reshape the real estate and construction sectors. In 1994, Eng. Ahmed took his vision further by establishing Al Ahly Sabbour Developments in partnership with the National Bank of Egypt, bringing a forward-thinking approach to the industry that set new benchmarks for excellence. Beyond his ventures in Egypt, Eng. Ahmed expanded his impact internationally by founding the Global Information & Technology Education Center (GITEC) in Dubai in 2003 and investing in major entities such as ARCO, Red Sea Resorts Company, LMD, and Continental Investment Company. A firm believer in global collaboration and progress, Eng. Ahmed plays an active role in international business through his memberships in key organizations like the American Society for Civil Engineering (ASCE), American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham), British Egyptian Business Association (BEBA), and the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).
